When I saw the cover i thought this was gonna be an unfunny meme album and here I am jammin to a serious banger holy shit this goes crazy
My Bluetooth is broken in my car so I played one of the cd’s I had in it and this was one of them. Personally I think after Metallica was formed, creating an album that sounds like this is kind of destined to fail in sounding not like them. I hate to say it and be that guy but I can't kick it under the fridge and act like while listening I didn't say to myself "are you sure this isn't a Metallica album?".
My score used to be a 68, not kidding I think that new Magdalena Bay album made me like Chappell Roan. I had some criticism on this album, still stands sure but I’ve become more forgiving towards it now that I understand the music. Now I’m wondering what other pop music I like now..
I was not expecting to see a 92 user score on my feed but here I am not being surprised why it does, this is like the most beautiful thing ever omg
Listening to these songs one by one is how I imagine passing kidney stones is like. Probably just as painful.
Let’s not bullshit the fact that this is basically identical to every other album in the Bro-Country genre, slapping Post Malone on it doesn’t really change anything. He’s just one of them now.
When Yung Gravy sings, it sounds like he’s overdosing on melatonin. Listening made me feel like I was hit with a tranquilizer dart.
Sorry this isn’t my thing, it’s not bad or anything, just not my thing
Edit (55-86): nevermind this bangs, you guys are on your own lol
I wanted to write this out on this site for a long time. Ever since I first heard this in 2022, it was actually the first record to get me into death metal and actually..every type of metal, really. Is it perfect? No not exactly, is it sick as fuck? Hell yes. That's all I really need to know for me to still appreciate it tho lmaoo. Ok lol that’s really all I have to say, this record means a lot to me, even if it's not the best metal record in the world it still holds a place in my heart ... read more
When I first made this account, the first thing I did was mark this as a 100 and call it my favorite album of all time. It was half sarcastic, that year I was obsessed with vintage country music/bluegrass folk. Today I think it’s still a good album, no short of fun and 100% a country classic. If there is an album to play while you’re at work, this is it.
Fun fact: this is the same train Caroline Polacheck was crawling in.
“Yellow black, yellow black, yellow black, yellow black, yellow black- ooh! black and yellow! Let’s shake it up a little!”
