Queens of the Stone Age - In Times New Roman...

This album is the weakest release yet by Josh Homme. A muddle of ideas, a mix where the bass and guitars are forever competing in the same frequency. But homme's songwriting and vocal performances are so self indulgent. A real fall in quality. Shame. Also solidarity to Brody Dalle, she didn't deserve to be slandered like this.

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

Still a good album. Some songs age poorly, but the interplay, the funny lyrics, the say it as it seen story telling, are among some of British rocks finest. This was peak indie before the landfill started piling up.

Arctic Monkeys - AM

By far the worst AM album. Terribly disappointing from start to finish. An album so bad and yet the mainstream music press lauded it. Probably because AM are the only band that attracts revenue for them. Sad mediocrity was rewarded.

Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino

A change of pace, incredibly dull.

Arctic Monkeys - The Car

Another boring album by arctic monkeys but reviewers have to say it's good because indie record stores would literally die if an arctic monkeys album didn't drop, especially in a cost of living crisis.

Nova Twins - Supernova
NR

Some bops, some forgetful songs, but it's certainly fun while it's on. Expect better from them in the future

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
NR

Musically complex and engaging, extreme highs, devastating emotional lows. Album is too intense for me to listen to on multiple listens, can understand why Isaac didn't want to play them live.
