dropped halfway through with only 1 song thats was just alright. i can see the vision but it is not for me. Melt My Eyez remains as Zel's best work.
i really wanted to like and "get" this album after hearing such rave praise surrounding this project; from the instrumentals to the topics Black Country, New Road covers in this album. instead, i'm left with an hour experience that left me incredibly bored and almost sleeping by the last song. maybe only 2 songs i enjoyed but overall, this project is just not for me. incredibly slow paced, and leaves more to be desired. only accounting for the new songs added for this release, almost all of them are pretty much terrible and pale in comparison to the other ep's leading up to this release.
Tribe's weakest album to date, but even though it is their weakest, its still a pretty good album. All of their stuff is worth listening to. (Little biased cuz they are my favorite hip-hop group lol)
ado does show some promise with strong vocals, but my god some of these songs are very over the top for show. some of the album feels very "loud" and feels overdramatic in some cases.
listened to it around the time it came out, never found the appeal to come back and relisten. could never really get into Amine's vocals this time around.
THE essential shoegaze album. love the way every song sounds, where everyone of them feel very ethereal and not of this world. classic/10.
