A uniquely compelling listen that is a far departure from the ground established by the band. With tight instrumentation and a smart sense of constraint, this albums makes itself stick out in a great way. This was a strong note for the band send off on. Brand New - Science Fiction

Is it worth the wait? Yes. Could it be Brand New's best work to date? Possibly, give it a year to settle and then we'll know for sure. Is this a fitting end for the band if this is their last album? Yes, this is the best possible to end their career. Give it a few listens, it might not stick initially, but it WILL grow on you. Album of the Year so far for me.

This album is like nothing else, a vividly dark story, constant genre bending, and godly shredding of the guitar by Omar. While long, the only time it loses energy fully is during the forth track, Miranda. The only deterrent I think some would have is that a good part of the album is in Spanish.
