Hands down the best Panic! album, but still nothing super special on this record. Just pretty fun in the moment before leaving you.
I'm such a sucker for Futures-era JEW it's unreal. This is just pure gold and I wish there was so much more of it. A must listen for anyone who enjoys JEW even moderately.
Yeah, I like it better than Bleed American. Yeah, I'm probably going insane.
It's Clarity, if you haven't listened to it, you should change that right now.
This is an all time favorite of mine, found me at the perfect time, helped me through with so much shit. It's hard to truly articulate how this album makes me feel.
Controversial opinion, this isn't a top 3 JEW album. For me this even is teetering on the edge of even being lower than their 5th fav for me. This album is very important, as it is one of the definitive moments of 3rd wave emo starting to find its form. It feels almost as an ode to 2nd wave while still very much being different than those acts. It quite literally sees one of the most important 2nd wave bands fully give into this even more pop-esce sound that would define 3rd wave as a whole. ... read more
This is the definitive 90's pop-punk album and is an absolute must listen for any fans of the sound. While nothing truly groundbreaking or experimental, it does what it set out to do to perfection.
Actually pretty fun when the time is right. The rawness definitely benefits Fall Out Boys sound, wish they didn't polish everything up so tidy in later releases. Regardless, this still is bland when I'm not in the mood to listen to it.
I love this album way more than I should, Thrice isn't normally this enjoyable for me.
Once the hype died down it just became okay. Not terrible, but doesn't come close to what came before.
I don't know why I love this album more and more the older I get. I thought it was a phase of overhype and youthful ignorance, but as the decade draws to an end, this album holds a grip on me tighter than it ever has. This album deserves more attention, but still remains a hard sell as many are opposed to Green's unique voice. Set aside any beginning biases or preconceptions you might have from some of their earlier, more popular, work and give this a listen.

I did not appreciate this album as much as I should have when it came out. There are so many bangers on this album and it's definitely a top half National album. Amazing what 2 years of reflection can do for an album.
Also, Day I Die is one of the songs of the decade and I will die on that hill.
The longer the year goes on, the more mediocre (by The National's high standards) this becomes and the more I realize that I love The National. It's a weird dichotomy.
I just know this number will continue to soar, this album just feels right. It's hard to truly articulate what this album makes you feel until you feel. It's more than catharsis and more than joy, it just feels right.
Probably the only album that makes me angry, like really angry. WHY ARE THE TRACKS ORDERED IN THE WAY THAT THEY ARE? It's sad that Muse's best song (Animals) is on by far is on their worst album. No thematic or tonal continuity. Just a bunch of songs slapped together with some horrid attempts at dubstep.
Good tracks : Panic Station, Animals, Madness, Supremacy
Avoid like the Plague : The 2nd Law Unsustainable
It's not as horrible as some make it out to be. But, it is definitely SDRE's weakest album without a question. The writing doesn't hold a candle to anything else in their discography, but the instrumentation is still compelling at times. Give it a listen, but it's not the greatest.
