"quantum physics could never show you the world i was in"
the lyrics heard around the world.
_-_-
i got so emotional over nothing and just can't find myself listening to this album for some reason.
i like it, sound really great. but a part of me just want to cry, conflicted, pain, agony of time.
fav: skinny
meh:
_-_-
skinny is the pool.
no, it is the scene. it's the deep trench of the sea that's darkness in beauty.
and maybe i can't handle the pressure, or maybe my english skill can't catch up to this moment, or just something.
idk.
here's the thing. it's as good as mediocre gets. a... drake's "honestly, nevermind" type of album which is generous before I like that album even more than this.
do i hate this? no. will i ever listen to this again? no.
and finally, i was installing wuthering waves when listening to this, and their site music was better than this.

what do the album sound like?

watching my favorite rapper who's known for being humble and chill like that being homophobic and transphobic :(
this is also the same guy who was featured on johnny p caddy.
_-_-
the fall off is inevitable.
he really went in tho.
daughter now? after adidon? how is drake going to respond bruh.
_-_-
the only tiniest nick pick is that the beat don't sound hard.
beside that, kendrick went from "fuck fps" to "fuck you and everything about you drake" to "to aubrey family, he's horrible, a woman hater, he don't care about you and drake you fake your shit and hiding a daughter."
that's some hate hate type shit.
went from aubrey to drake like walter white to heisenberg.
...
oh shit third beats actually going hard right now wtf. 90 to 100.
_-_-
i also like how drake switch the narrative of his stereotypes, like from "ur lightskin" to "ok dawg we know the black the berry the sweeter the juice don't be insecure of people blacker than you", and shit like that. also if that's the actual gkmc van, drake really stepped up the game.
drake: fuck you kendrick short ass small shoe ass
kendrick:
fuck your clothes
fuck your skin color
fuck your walk
fuck your fame
fuck your canadian ass
fuck your bad father figure ass
fuck ovo people ass
fuck your woman disrespect ass
fuck your ai imitation
fuck your ghost rider
fuck your lil yatchy associates
fuck you trying to say the n word
fuck your fake tough ass
fake your indirect threat ass
fuck your diva ass
fuck your cease and desist ass

not kidding when i think that stargazing is so good that astroworld immediately became boring for me.
album cover kinda hard tho.
fav: the metal wobble sound, "i was on the block like a gas station"
meh: genre : bradboy

[only true from stuntman to the end]
meh. i know it's just extra, but it just doesn't add up to this album.
fav: stuntman, what a day, dogtooth, sorry not sorry
meh: wharf talk, heaven to me, boyfriend girlfriend
_-_-
one of my earlier listens when i first discovered foreign music, still as good as ever.
fav: sir baudelaire, corso, lemonhead, wusyname, lumberjack, hot wind blows, massa, manifesto, sweet / bla bla bla dance, juggernaut, safari
meh: wilshire
_-_-
wilshire seems like a filler tho, 8 and a half minutes of the less cool massa.
other than that, there's no skip, and the transitions between tracks are crazy.
it sounds like anxiety and the first track is like taking a cigarette to prepare for the chaos.
is that a good thing? it depends on you.

femtanyl x devthefox collab when?
not for me, i don't like this bordeline-brainrot music thing. maybe you'll find it good.
it's so bad that it's not even remotely funny in any way.
"wasting people's time + money hungry + clout chasing" music
fav: n/a
meh: all of them
_-_-
it's hard to listen to, the vocals are unbearable, background sounds like audio jungle, every single one.
if you listen to literally anything else after experiencing this, it'll sound so much better.
stopped at child's play because i just can't ruin my day more with this trash album.
this lp is bad. it's really bad.
fav: none
meh: all of them
_-_-
there's nothing to even say about it besides bad.
it's the clubhouse music but with drug addicts everywhere around you.
not bad honestly, good vibe background music, and just overall chill lower tone stuff.
it's the "it's not about the meaning, but the feeling of it" tracklist, except for jimmy cooks.
fav: intro, texts go green, a keeper, calling my name, sticky, flight's booked, liability, jimmy cooks
meh: none
_-_-
so yeah, background chill music, "driving car midnight" music stuff.
maybe you'll like the vibe, maybe you won't.
the album is a little bit too long tho.
editing review, 60 to 80
kod is a 2-week album that talks about these lil whatever ass mumble rapper and some society trouble that people keep getting themselves into
one could say that it's a boring album, but if you don't set the expectation for every music to be "bing boom blow" with Mike Dean producing every track, then kod is a good album
fav: KOD, BRACKETS, Once an Addict, Window Pain, 1985
