I don't think I could have imagined a concept album about the Malboro man narrated through Ambient and Plunderphonics-like samples in my wildest dreams.
I really like the concept of the album, as along with its description, this one morphs into almost a sort of critique that lasts only 17 minutes and without a single word around, but it conveys quite a lot in the heights it reaches. I really like what 0perelly has achieved on this EP. Not only do all the songs seem to follow a cohesive thread that flows through them, but her chords, production, and vocal inflections only add tenderness and enjoyment to the project's nature.
It's a very enjoyable EP, and a very anticipatory introduction for an artist I hadn't previously heard of.
