music really has a way of finding you because this album couldn't have come at a more perfect time in my life. I too struggle with anxiety and identity, a struggle has been especially strong this past year, and this album genuinely feels like he picked my brain and used it to create these songs. we’re so back. Kevin’s is genuinely just a creative genius I’ll never get tired of his vision. and I’ve been introduced to sm new artists that are doing some of the most interesting things in the industry rn (lovespells is INSANE) through kevin, through solo projects and blush. love love love everything about this and can’t wait for pt 2
finally listened to this front to back, idk why I haven’t yet when some of my favorite songs from the marías are from this album (all I really want is you, fog as a bullet). great debut album imo, it was fun to come back to this as a long time fan and see how their sound has evolved and how MY tastes have changed when it comes to which songs I liked better. one thing I missed on submarine was Josh’s vocals so it was nice to hear him again!
