Earthists continue to deliver catchy J-Rock infused Metalcore that dominates my listening history for months to come. Just like their EP "Hypermetal". Everything was super catchy and really well done. I love the sounds that come from this album, and all the riffs just hit. I REALLY want to see an album come from this band soon. They are killing it with this direction, and hopefully they will drop an album sometime soon. Until then, however. Listen to this band, they are super ... read more
Not as strong as their first single, but I'll give this a pretty decent rating. They used their feature, in this case, Corey Taylor. Really effectively. I loved how he sang the second chorus, and the Slipknot influences are strong. Honestly, another enjoyable track. Will this finally be a proper MiW album I'll enjoy? I guess we will find out soon.
I really enjoyed the soundscapes of this album. I had never heard of Fire-Toolz before up until this point, and only became interested due to the mix of multiple genres at play. Overall a good direction for the band
Might be a tad bit of an unpopular opinion, but I thought for Periphery standards. This album was alright. A lot of the songs didn't really scratch any itch for me. They weren't bad, but I wasn't really feeling anything.
I was decently excited for this album. While the first single "Mr. God" wasn't really anything special (and imo still hasn't clicked), I thought "Everyone Dies Alone" was pretty solid and has been growing on me since. But I ... read more
