Cudi really pours himself out on this underrated project. With this punk rock style album with eerie vibes. It shows Kid Cudi in a dark place and showing his emotions through the music. As this album is done almost entirely by Scott himself including production,guitar and bass play it should be respected. Comethazine falls short of any originality and unique style. Showing lack of meaning lyrically but also musically.
Mac Millers Swimming is a deep straight from the heart album to us listeners coming at a time not to long before his unfortunate death and will definitely leave a mark on the music scene. Showing a lot of emotion and vocal range Mac Miller gets at what he aims for with this project. The downsides here are to be seen since he keeps a very similar sound during all his songs. Definitely room for improvement.
