PEAK EARLY WEEN, this is truly the reality of the brown. Best LMLYP ever, Captain Fantasy into Boing, 4 unreleased HEATERS, and so many great cuts from an amazing live performance with incredible Deaner guitar work.
Ween's best release, point blank period. Absurdly lively frontman performance by Gener, some of my favorite guitar solos of all time from Deaner, Claude's tight as ever, Glenn hits those keys like crazy, and Dave just drives the whole thing along. Everyone's firing on all cylinders and if I could give this a 101, I would.
At one point, this was my least favorite Ween project. But the more I listened to it, the more I loved the songs I once thought were lower points of the albums with killer baselines and a sort of experimental hip hop feel to them. This whole album feels like a heat-stroke induced hallucination and I mess with it.
A great array of songs that show the full range of Ween's abilities through each of their eras. Suprisingly jazzy and funky unlike any other Ween project.
