The inconsistency in certain parts is the only thing holding this back from being the best version of Drake and a complete hell of an album. It’s hard to dwell on the lows when the highs hit this hard.

It feels like the consistency and cohesive sound that defined Take Care was traded for a new level of artistic peak he reaches here. And now, it’s a shame you can’t see any of these qualities in any of his recent works.

Mimo total a lo que fuimos y somos. Sin dejar de proponer algo nuevo y distinto, con todo lo que Milo tiene para dar. Me agarró desprevenido, vine curioso por las colaboraciones, y me encantó. Cuando haces las cosas con pasión y amor, se transmiten fácilmente, y acá hay cariño de sobra.

This was a lot to digest first thing in the morning. I was stunned, didn’t even know how to feel about it. Now with some more caffeine in my blood, and three listens in, I’m properly creaming.

It’s such a different sound from his previous albums, and I’m glad. This sounds gritty, raw and aggressive when it wants. It doesn’t intend to be clean, it wants to be ugly. And there’s beauty in the ugly. Just like in life itself.

I sat through and finished the second half by pure respect, and nothing else. Tough.

It was funny tho. The Elephant and Ave Maria song really caught me off guard. Gotta give him that

I’m personally not a fan of the rapping, overall. But Anthony’s job here is insane. Production is on point, and even beyond that. Flabbergasting for a first project

No soy muy del palo del Reggaeton. Me copa, no me disgusta. Pero no es algo que me pongo a escuchar casi nunca. Así y todo, DATA me atrapó la suficiente. Y hasta hizo que algunos artistas que no me fumaría por sí solos, se me hagan más que escuchables.

La verdad que no me gustó midnights. Prácticamente nada, todo muy olvidable y salteable. Pero todas las canciones extra/deluxe son otra cosa. Como que se dejó todo lo bueno afuera (estoy fingiendo demencia y pretendiendo que karma con Ice Spice no existe)
