I was definitely hoping for an album similar to Save Rock & Roll, but this lives up to none of the very low expectations I had.
This is a great debut album. Crying In The Club and OMG were cut from the tracklist but I was definitely expecting a lot more uptemo bops on this than there were. The album also starts off weak and does not pick up until Havana really. Second half of the album is a lot more engaging.
Collectively a solid album but also collectively pretty boring for me to listen to. I think I read a lot of good things about this album though - I could see it garnering her a few awards or at least some recognition. I just hope she is able to work with her team to really get out there and promote it.
