this is one of the most eargasmic peaces of music i've ever heard, might be a top 10 all time song
I was recommended this and i'm fucking blown away. While listening to the album it felt like i was listening to an already fully formed artist. My favourite part was the very detailed and lavish production, it sounded like a million bucks, just absolutely gorgeous, and the performances were also amazing. When The Pawn... is my favourite Fiona Apple album, and probably the album i feel the safest calling a "perfect ten". Everything about it its phenomenal, and it contains some of my favourite songs EVER
the most abstract and artsy Fiona Apple project, you can tell there was a lot of thought and emotion put into these tracks. Though it might have less replay value than other fiona albums, some of my favourite songs of her's land here
i was recommended this, i've already listened to most of the songs, so for now its not a priority to listen to this live, but i imagine its great
More proof that Common is one of the most underrated MCs to ever do it, the No I.D instrumentals are jazzy and smooth and the song concepts are varied, its a very chill listen and an essential rap album for the jazz rap fans
A bit bloated, and not as impressive and transcendental as the previous 3 pink floyd albums (besides comfortably numb)
Why tf is this tagged as drumless? The drums are the best thing about the beat
