not very different in style throughout, but short enough and evoking enough to make up for it <3
Overall forgettable, just the final three songs from a reissue bring this from a 67 to a 70, which definitely says something about effort.
The top songs are great, the low songs are average, overall, still a good album, just on average forgettable
I don't know why people hate on Destructo Disk, they're pretty solid, sure their quality is a tad bit inconsistent but overall this is an album I like !! A lot of the songs are touching and some of them block out everything around me with whatever energy drink the drummer had before recording. Some songs like Wolf Fang Fist feel drawn out, but songs like Sockhead, Cops / Dogs, and Slow Guys are what keep it from hindering the overall quality
does baby keem like.. not breathe??? How the hell??
Two beat switches was something I was NOT expecting, the chemistry between them two is actually insane. There is one time where Kendrick goes off beat slightly but it overall doesn't hinder the track.
When I first heard Bags, I knew I had to listen to this whole album. I first heard of Clairo from my sister, who used to play Sofia in the car and didn't think much of it. Two years later, I found Pretty Girl through YouTube recommendations (I used to use YT Music, don't judge) and started to take a liking to her music. Something about her singing style just kinda does that for you. Bags really was the song that hooked me, it's chord progression never really resolving evokes such ... read more
honestly didnt expect James Marriott to be any good, i instantly lose faith when i see a popular content creator's name in spotify. BUT, this sounds pretty good!! not anything too special, but its a high quality performance with great production, and sometimes thats all you need
Most of the songs sound very similar, doesn't really transition together that well, Stress Relief was a great track, not sure whether it should've opened over something like Nostalgic Love Rock, but either way this EP's doing its job very well. Very comforting, very The Strokes-esque which I always appreciate. Under Supervision's great but it feels dragged out just to have a long song to end the EP.
Overall: above average
I literally have no idea why but Julian belting about not getting laid connects with me on a universal level
I don't think there's really anything I can say that would properly define how much this album means to me ever since I first heard it. The entire EP allows me to let out feelings I've been bottling for a while, and I think that's something special, especially for such a short EP like this.
I absolutely LOVE the more upbeat sounds from her as of this song, absolutely reminds me of "it's a mess, i'll be okay". The mixing here is a huge step up already from the improvement on skin to skin. I usually don't enjoy spoken word interludes in music, but here, it meshes so well with her style and the song's vibe I can't help but love it. The section with the crashes comes with such catharsis building up with the rest of the song.
No words, maybe I'm just moody right now but I believe this is one of the best albums ive heard
Overall, absolutely not as bad as people make it out to be. Sure, it could be shorter, it has a bit of a filler problem, but overall, for a mostly production focused album, he absolutely knocked it out of the park. The problem I'm seeing comes from looking at it as a primarily vocal-focused album as albums conventionally are. This is more of an instrumental album with vocals used as just another instrument instead of the main focus. EXTREMELY strong start, kinda fades off in the end, ... read more
Overall not as bad as I thought. The indie pop band just became an indie pop band, so they made indie pop. Overall favorite was On the Run, did the pop-rock aesthetic the best in this album. The rest were just simple pop songs, pretty average, worst album by Glass Animals in my opinion but by NO means a terrible album in general.
Bad Apple: Great intro, the production is not near dirty enough for this type of singing to work well. Overall pretty bad, 34/100.
Company Culture: Her singing voice isn't bad at all, I feel like the verses could use it more and any high energy choruses or such sections could benefit from her more aggressive vocal delivery. Currently they just kind of give mixed feelings when put together. Love the ending, overall better than Bad Apple, solid 60/100.

where did the bass go..?
Overall thought this would be more aggressive seeing Peggy's other songs, wasn't wholly disappointed though. The riff could be better in my opinion. Lyrics were peak as ALWAYS with this man, I feel like if he spent more time on making the production as chaotic as his other stuff it would've brought out the full potential in this song.
