Confessional, resilient, and achingly beautiful. I love this album dearly. I think it's taken a while for Hayley to find her sound as a solo artist, but it's clear that she's found her niche on this record. It's what I've wanted to hear from her for a while. Definitely my AOTY for 2025 <3
Highlight tracks for me are the title track, Mirtazapine, True Believer, Whim, and Parachute.
Returning to this album after not listening in full for a few years was a pleasant surprise. I used to be a huge Harry fan - saw him live during his 2021 tour, listened to his albums religiously. I've fallen out of the fandom over the years, but still listen to some songs every now and then. I decided to revisit this album in full and I really enjoyed it!
