I’ve been meaning to listen to this for a while now and I’m glad I did. Also it’s crazy this was realeased 2 years ago, I feel like it was just yesterday that I was listening to roommates for the first time.
It’s okay. Was expecting more from the duo, but there isn’t really a standout performance on the album.
I took one week off music and come back to find that a band from Quebec, my province of all places, is making waves in the community.
I never heard of Angine de poitrine before today but holy shit are they talented. Did you see what this man did to his guitar? Continue, parce que c‘est bon en tabarnak.
I know this is gonna look like the other reviews , but they’re not wrong, the album does sound like a mix of Primus and the chili peppers. That said, even though i love Brandon Boyd’s voice, it was kinda underwhelming compared to the praise it was getting in the other reviews.
The more I listen to Chevelle, the more I grow to love them. One of the best metal albums able to rival the likes of around the fur by deftones.
After listening to the album, it really makes me wonder why elektra records didn’t wait a bit for the drama over album covers to calm down a little instead of completely shelving the project. It’s a great album and it’s a shame Subroc passed the way he did, would have loved to hear what he could’ve done.
It’s interesting compared to some of the other stuff I’ve listened to by him. I’m not sure if I like it, but I def don’t dislike it.
Better than I expected. Not good, but def better than expected. This mixtape is extremely hit or miss, you either get pretty solid songs in sevan and paid for or ear terrorism in tank Davis.
Deftones have been a staple in the metal community since the early 2000s and this album is their magnum opus (yes over white pony) .Just remember if you don’t like the music, your kids will beg you to buy their album anyways.
A hidden gem. If you like soul or funk, you have to check out this album. The production is great and the overall vibe of the album just makes you feel good. Very impressed with this album.
I loved this album man. It reminded me of so many bands. It’s like they took the best parts of different bands and put them together to make this album. One of the more enjoyable experiences in a while. All in all, amazing album.
