I'm such a sucker for indie pop 💔
Lyn Lapid's debut entitled BUZZKILL is relatable, touching, versatile, satisfying, concise, and severely underrated. her vocals are honestly heartwarming and charming. I love the harmonics she performs usually in choruses- they're especially sweet. the lyricism and instrumentation + production is also very noteworthy. seriously, this is a must-listen for the indie and alt R&B enjoyers.
"floater friend" lowkey hits different
every track is great though, "buzzkill", "i'll be happy when", and "it doesn't kill me anymore" are some of my other favorites.
