Just pure emotion and art in the most polished form possible
Mirror to Mirror was the rough draft, Face to Face was the letter they sent.
Flowers got me tearing up at 4 am.
Delicate, ethereal, and simply a true piece of art. Each track has its own personality and flavor that carries its own weight in the EP. Packed with emotion and fervor, Let’s Go transports the listener into a more peaceful and gentle world of lofi.
Fav tracks: Flowers, we’ve never met, sorry for not answering
Least fav: we were friends
Tyler but east coast.
It’s short and sweet, but what really blew me away was the quality and consistency of each song. They all introduced something new to the EP and wonderfully meshed into a coherent sound by the end. The production and mixing on the project is also surprisingly good for an artist of his size. To add, there’s a very clear Tyler presence in the overall listening experience, but it feels more of an interpretation, rather than straight up copy and pasting like some ... read more
It’s honestly so bad that it’s kind of funny
Like I wasn’t even expecting anything that crazy, but damn some of these tracks are genuinely so bad. One of these is literally just 5 piano notes in a loop and a synth at the end. Also, every single one of the features is a miss, which is kind of crazy if you think about it. Feel like the Carti syndrome is rubbing off these other trap artists.

unironically dark as shit
The greatest strength of this song is the imagery, as well as the fact that you can really sense the desperateness of the protagonist--especially in the way they are willing to go to such lengths just to be with their partner one last time.
I particularly enjoy the focus on the "voodoo" and "dark magic" as it's honestly a realistic way to approach people who are lost in grief. Specifically, how cults and scam voodoo artists target those in ... read more
gang, it's so good BECAUSE it's corny.
Admittedly, I feel like in order to see past the somewhat corny lyrics of the song, you genuinely had to have felt a genuine romantic connection with another person. The lyrics are simply Samsa taking the perspective of a partner gushing over his partner. However, one of the most beautifully unique aspects of the song is that halfway through, it transitions into the person listing all the flaws of their partner. But instead of the critiquing ... read more
this song has the most entrancing ambience out of all his tracks(maybe tied with cuttlefish)
One of my favorite aspects of this song(however I'm not entirely sure if it was intentional) is that the song initially begins by describing a typical "rebellious young teenage couple" but then seamlessly transitions into the message of "driving with no plans is becoming less common", which I honestly think is such an introspective message about the true human experience of ... read more
very unique premise for a song.
His lyrics and descriptions of how he envisions the end of the world is so creative.
"Atomic bombs or comet craters, hordes of zombie space invaders
Angels singing psalms while Satan’s satyrs crack through the equator"
His illustration of both a human-inflicted apocalypse and a biblical end of times coalescing is beautiful.
