The essence of this band

As title says - it's just Shining doing their own business, and nothing more, but it's actually good this time. Kvarforth's music went really downhill since Halmstad (except Redefing Darkness), but now it seems he summed that, what he had done over the last 27 years, and he did that very well.

How many times yet, Kvarforth?

I've noticed that artists, which have done something ambitious once in their lifetime (fe: Vindsval, Nergal), tend to repeat the same style. I find it boring when someone really talented, like Kvarforth, keeps doing the same thing and sticks to the comfort zone, when he could've done something really great, like he did during Eerie Cold-Halmstad period.
