Definitely still a quality release but they've literally been making the exact same album for years now. There's nothing new here and I couldn't even tell the album ended because it all just blends into their usual sound.
The essence of this band
As title says - it's just Shining doing their own business, and nothing more, but it's actually good this time. Kvarforth's music went really downhill since Halmstad (except Redefing Darkness), but now it seems he summed that, what he had done over the last 27 years, and he did that very well.
