Ethereal UK is an artist I reviewed back in 2021. I've been well aware of her music for a while now, and she and I were both admins at one point over in the RTR group. Even though we managed the same group, I've never invested time into listening to her releases outside of the one she submitted a few years back. There's two main reason's for this. First, most of her releases are uploaded to Bandcamp, and I didn't start paying attention to that app until recently. And ... read more

I don't really give TikTok enough credit when it comes to introducing me to new tracks. I mean, my mind always hesitates and cringes a bit before doing so, but here it feels well-earned. I stumbled across their promo video for "OMNITRIX" and basically said to myself: "Now this is some nerdy shit I can deep dive into".

The intro track isn't the craziest one on this album, but it 100% sets the tone by coming in full force with that in-your-face-attitude that was to ... read more

I'll be honest, I haven't thought about Trippie Redd since like 2021 when he put out "Trip at Knight", and I haven't cared for any of MGK's stuff since I was fourteen. I heard MGK was trying to revert back to rapping, and I'll give it to him, Trippie Redd definitely fits the weird, emotionally manipulative brand he goes for. Even though these two forces of emo have combined their power, it's still not enough to produce a solid project.

I don't really don't know what to ... read more

I really need to get some reviews done for projects that have released this year. I'm so tired of the Vultures album cover staring me in the face and sitting at the top of my page. That's why I'm thankful my buddy sent me a link to this the other night when it dropped. I kinda shrugged it off at first, but then my TikTok feed started blowing up with the Kendrick verse. So, I pulled it up on Spotify and started giving it some plays over the weekend.

The title track doubles as the intro track ... read more

We got another new DARK MANA single the other day. The new tracks came with a bit more information in the Bandcamp description, however, and it appears this track and presumably the previous single ("Stay Awake") are part of much larger project. DARK MANA notes they are from an upcoming double album titled: "Smoke & Mirrors / Afterglow". There was no mention of a release date or how far along the project is in production.

Focusing on the new single, it's another ... read more
