The album cover is almost as surreal as the music itself. This is another great recommendation from the Outside Noise Instagram account; I feel like they have some kind of Faustian deal which allows them to be informed of the weirdest, most niche music being released.

If you’re like me and don’t know French, or what the band is (apparently) about, then the final song of the album (and the only one in English, not counting the Billy Woods feature) changes the context of the spitting rage boiling in every previous song. I had originally planned on writing a big review on this album, but I’ve instead decided to write a more personal take on why The Lamb of Effigy means a lot to me.
