Sonically, really like it. The lyrics ruin a lot of it for me though. “Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes” “callin me on your megaphone” 🙄
We get it, your fiance is a football player. What does that have to do with Hamlet? That being said, it’s the best song on the album by a mile.
I really gave it a chance and was genuinely expecting it to be a return to form after two lackluster releases, but that’s 3 strikes in a row for me.
The lyrics are a ***mess***. I can’t tell you how many times I literally said “what???! 🤨” out loud to myself.

After 18 this was a great return. The prog rock elements made this album feel fresh and it felt like a natural progression from the pure pop punk they were doing almost 2 decades ago.
Only criticism is that I wish the vocals were a but more crisp. Some parts are a little muddy and unintelligible for me. But overall love this album and it will definitely be added to my usual rotation going forward.
Faves: Eternal Youth, Circulate, Enjoyment, Curveball
