Full of Bangers. Even if obviously PROM/KING is the best song (and one of the best story-telling songs I have ever heard), there are others songs that touch very interesting topics (for example, GREY: The sitters-Walkers-Dricers lines still hit hard after soooo many listens.
Excellent concept. The whole album shows their versatility in using different ranges (mainly with success, except for Hasta Jesús Tuvo un Mal Día, where I think the concept just fails). while braggadociously showing how their two voices complement each other
I think this album is messier than the last couple of Peggy's projects. That has its positives and its negatives. I'm happy this LP exists, it's something different than what I would imagine hearing when I'm gonna listen to a JPEGMAFIA project, but I don't see myself revisiting this project so much (or at least not as much as I did with Scaring the Hoes or ILDMLFY). A nice comeback to the basics of his genius. He finally proves that he can express emotion, grief, reflection and feeling with his music (although I do not agree with this common belief, but a turn-downed production is very welcomed after Djesse Vol. 4) . Something Heavy is now in my top 3 songs from him, easily. I hope he follows this direction in the next projects, maybe trying to find an equilibrium between his love for a megalomanous sound and this raw-kind of composition.
