Though I do wish the production on 22 was more like the original, this is such a stunning re-record. Red was and is my absolute favorite album of Taylor's. Her writing here was top tier and her emotion is breathtaking throughout every song. The vault tracks here blow all of the other vault tracks she's done to date so far out of the water, and I'm not even just talking about the gem that is All Too Well 10 Min. Having gone through a few of Taylor's re-records now, this one BY FAR has impressed me the most as the most true to her previous work. It's a beautiful start to her re-recording process and added so much love to her already incredible artistry within this album. The vault tracks here are incredibly underrated in my opinion and show so much soul from her big break-out era. I love this album with all my heart.

No skips whatsoever on this one. Truly, it is a masterpiece of pop music that somehow manages to be so subversive while remaining so sonically gorgeous. It takes the best of 80s pop, current pop, and The 1975's masterful grasp on production and sound, and what it created is nothing short of dynamic. I found the band from this album and I will always feel blessed to have found them during such an incredible era of their sound. No one is doing it like The 1975, and no one is doing The 1975 quite ... read more
It's shocking seeing how low this was scored by others when it first came out, but I think that's what happens with debut albums. For what it's worth over a decade later, this is probably one of the strongest debut albums I can think of. I mean, The 1975 went into this album after having already played together for nearly a decade, and you can feel it in how much has been woven into their sound, style, and lyricism. You can see it in the strength of Chocolate, Robbers, and Sex, which most bands ... read more
