how tf dare you tell me the same people who made The Maybe GODDAMN Man and What No One's Thinking happened to casually decide to create the most average hollow song for Big Mouth's ugly little brother of a show. Wtf man.
(yes I am only rating the AJR song, nothing else in this is worth shit anyway)
I love the fact that most tracks are brief and simply get their themes done pretty smoothly without dragging out unnecessarily. Therefore, the consistent style they all share doesn't really get to feel boring or annoying, it just works perfectly fine. The vocals are also consistently solid and the writing is a clear example of turning pain into art. Really solid and fun project.
Highlights: Poison, Bleeding Heart, Burn My Mirror.
The only thing I actually mind about this is the fact that the finale was the same as the one for The Click Tour and the korean version of the TMM Tour, aside from that this is great.
I hadn't rated anything by AJR in this site before, because doing that and giving them anything above 60 means your opinion doesn't mean anything for every other user here, but I can't not say anything about how good this EP is. Ever since The Maybe Man, AJR's production has increased so much it's impressive, and all of the tracks in this EP feel as honest as it gets, it's in my opinion their most genuine project, and I absolutely love it.
