What interesting is the fact that at first I really wasn't sure if I'd like this when I heard some of the singles, but this is such a cohesive and consistent record that my expectations were blown out of the water first listen, this album is awesome and I'll DEFINITELY be checking his other work out soon

I actually really liked this. There are a few points where I felt like it was a bit TOO experimental, but it's still REALLY good and I'm tweaking tf out rn
This is honestly just fun to listen to. Yeah, there's not a lot of consistency with what kind of song you get on this album, but I like the genre switches. There really isn't a bad song on here. It's cool and pretty rad.
I see what he was going for here, but I feel like a few songs fall flat. And it also kinda sucks that the singles were practically the best songs on the album. Personally MY least favorite of his, but props to him for experimenting with what he likes and creating something HE'S proud of.
Edit: I kinda called it in my mind, this grew on me pretty well. Not what I'm USED to from Tame Impala, but the more I'm digesting it, the better I find this. It's fun!
I know that this album tends to get put low due to the drama surrounding Jonny, but I really, REALLY love this album. Yeah, it's not perfect, but I think what it gives the listener is fucking amazing. Every track has its own special quirks that make them a blast to listen to, and as a whole, it's SUPER cohesive.
