I actually really like this album. Yeah, there are a couple songs that might be off-putting for some listeners, but I don't think anything on this is bad at all.

Now THIS is what I wish Sleep Token still was.

This is what got me into Sleep Token, but there are a few duds on here. Definitely not bad, but not something that blows me away to give it a better score.

It's not that I find the stuff BAD, per se. It's the fact that I KNOW they can do better. This does have its fair share of standouts (Look To Windward, Emergence, Gethsemane, Infinite Baths), but a lot of this does kinda sound generic. Nothing against generic, but knowing what they've done before this album, it's obvious they're drifting away from what's really good.

Wow.

Honestly, she does rock well. Lots of good bangers on here.

So smooth. The way every track just flows seamlessly into the next really makes this feel like one long song and I really like that. Singing is top-notch, as well. Feels like one of those albums to just sit in your bed and space out to for half an hour.

I honestly really like the direction this album took compared to his previous albums. You can definitely tell that this one is a good combination of everything else from Tyler's past production-wise, but he obviously made this to have us all shake our asses and dance to some good music, and I applaud him because I did, in fact, shake my ass and listen to some good music.

Probably his most introspective so far.
