Sounds absolutely nothing like the first two, he barely even raps on this!!! The first two were plugg albums, this isn't anywhere close. What was the point in naming this as the 3rd Charlotte album if it has nothing to do stylistically with the other 2? He never catches a flow either. He gets 3 lines in then you get hit with a rewind or slomo effect. The mix is also really rough for no reason. Seriously not good sadly but at least he had symbolism this year
I understand the frustration with this album after such a long wait, and with all the hype built up that people expected some sort of curated ultra high budget rage trap album. But this is Playboi Carti we are talking about. He is at root completely unhinged and this album makes complete sense as a follow up from Whole Lotta Red.
