ive been excitedly waiting for this album since the first single dropped as i expected Phil to revisit the "The Glow, Pt. 2" sound based on the singles i heard, and it seems i was right to an extent. the thing i did not expect was for him to build onto that sound even more by playing with sounds he hasnt done much of before, or experimenting with and changing sounds he already uses.

"@spiker217 if i am to give reason as to why i like one and not the other, there are 2 main reasons. idmthy seemed to recognise what it was and what it was meant to achieve a lot more than vhs, which allowed idmthy to play to its strengths whereas vhs attempted and failed, in my mind, to manifest something that wasnt meant to exist. the 2nd reason is simply that the production on idmthy is much more interesting to me, vhs is a little too safe for my taste."
