i dont care much at all for taylors lyrics (including on this album), and most of the time i dont care for her voice or sound, except for on this album, dis sound pretty good tbh, except it does seem a little copy-pasteish for the most part with only slight tweaks made to the original blueprint, which sometimes results in a good song, such as august, but can inversely result in a very boring song like invisible string. however that and the lyrics are my only real problems with this album, other ... read more
this album is what makes me love music. the possibilities are endless.
creating the new wave - a really high octane way to start the album off with an instrumental made by DahGraham himself. the use of no vocals on this track is a smart move being as it not only gives a social commantary of keeping his silence, it also shows that he doesnt even need to speak to "create a new wave". ending this track off with a very wavey and slow breakdown of the beat transitions well into the rest of the album.

"@spiker217 if i am to give reason as to why i like one and not the other, there are 2 main reasons. idmthy seemed to recognise what it was and what it was meant to achieve a lot more than vhs, which allowed idmthy to play to its strengths whereas vhs attempted and failed, in my mind, to manifest something that wasnt meant to exist. the 2nd reason is simply that the production on idmthy is much more interesting to me, vhs is a little too safe for my taste."
