dis wasnt what i expected at all based on the vylet pony music id heard before, which at first was a bad thing cuz i wanted some silly :3 music but as i got into this album, i wasnt disappointed at all with the surprise. very beautiful and swagsome album from front to back, and it def got me feeling like rainbow dash in da cover doe 3:
aes always has cool ass beats, tight flows, and interesting lyrics on everything ive heard from him, and this isnt an exception as the trio are definitely present all throughout this album. i only have 2 problems with this album, one of which is the choice to make his voice slightly distorted, as whilst it contributes to the character of the album, it decreases the listenability of it too. and on the subject of character, that is the other element i feel is lacking from this album, not greatly, ... read more
instrumentally this album is good, the high energy and loud guitar strumming paired with the high energy vocals create a pleasant listening experience, however the vocals themself dont appeal much to me and i find myself thinking theyre annoying at times, but theyre not ear-bleedingly bad at least.

consistently very good sounding album, there's many words i could use to describe said sound, but ultimately it doesnt do a great amount for me personally which secures it at an 8 or below, atleast until it clicks

i didnt get the full experience of this album because i ate the blue one chip halfway through this and actually thought i was going to die and this album being on during that made me feel like i was gonna die even more, which does show its intensity so ill give it that tbh but holy shit its been 50 mins and i still feel on the brink of death wish me luck

"@spiker217 if i am to give reason as to why i like one and not the other, there are 2 main reasons. idmthy seemed to recognise what it was and what it was meant to achieve a lot more than vhs, which allowed idmthy to play to its strengths whereas vhs attempted and failed, in my mind, to manifest something that wasnt meant to exist. the 2nd reason is simply that the production on idmthy is much more interesting to me, vhs is a little too safe for my taste."
