Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun - The Brave

''So Tom, what do you want for the album cover''

Tom: Something similar to Polo G's cover, don't make it too obvious tho

Polo G - Hall of Fame
NR

''Hall of Fame'' is my personal favorite Polo G album and the album that solidifies his spot in the game. He switches up his production on songs like ''For The Love Of New York'', ''Gang Gang'', ''Boom'', ''No Return'', ''Party Lyfe'' and ''Clueless'' after major complaints from fans that he only raps on the same piano beats. Polo carries the 20-track album impressively well and puts himself in the conversation for best rap album of 2021 imo. I enjoyed all the singles released beforehand and ... read more

Trippie Redd - Trip At Knight

Definitely my personal favorite out of Trippie's discography. A couple just alright songs but most of the songs on here are fun bangers with good replay value. Although I really enjoy this album, I don't want to see Trippie continuing with full rage beat projects cause I feel like it can get boring really quick if done too much. Great tracklist, great production, mostly good performances from Trippie and only a couple of features I didn't enjoy on ''Captain Crunch''.

Silk Sonic - An Evening With Silk Sonic
94

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak joined forces early 2021 as ''Silk Sonic'' and released their debut album in November of the same year. The album only includes 9 songs but is an incredibly enjoyable and different listen from everything else being released these days. Even though some tracks are stronger than others, every single song is special and unique in its own way. It truly does feel like An Evening With Silk Sonic, which is what they were going for with this album. One of the best albums ... read more

Juice WRLD - Legends Never Die
NR

Juice WRLD's third studio album and first posthumous project showcases Juice's qualities at the highest level and proves that Juice WRLD had so much more to give to the world than what he got to give. With bangers like ''Hate The Other Side'' and ''Come & Go'', typical Juice songs like ''Wishing Well'', ''Righteous'', ''I Want It'' and ''Life's A Mess'', and even Juice on some Ronny J production on ''Conversations'', Legends Never Die showcases a lot of different artistic sides of Juice ... read more

Lil Tecca - Virgo World
NR

''Virgo World'' is Lil Tecca's debut album and his first project since his 2019 breakout mixtape ''We Love You Tecca''. ''Virgo World'' feels like a more focused Tecca who is still finding himself as an artist and as a person. Tecca was only 18 years old at the time this came out which makes it even more impressive as to how good it is. Yes, there are songs like ''Back It Up'' and ''Take 10'' that are nothing more than just decent, but the majority of the songs on here are really enjoyable, ... read more

Lil Skies - Unbothered
NR

Lil Skies returns from a silent 2020 with his sophomore album ''Unbothered''. Just like his other projects, it's 14 tracks long and doesn't feature a lot of features. The LP is just over 40 minutes long and a decent, pretty enjoyable listen. Although it's probably his weakest work so far, it's not as bad as people call it. Songs like ''Fade Away'', ''Take 5'', ''Excite Me'', ''Havin My Way'', ''Red Wine & Jodeci'', ''Riot'' and ''Sky High'' are good songs. The rest of the tracks are decent ... read more

I did not expect to like this album as much as I do but Doja Cat really delivered on this one. ''Planet Her'' is a great listen with features that fit perfectly in to the tracklist. The intro track features Doja over a smooth afrobeat which I did not expect at all. The following tracks are all great until we get into ''Been Like This'', which I just find alright. ''Imagine'' and ''Alone'' are two other songs that I just find alright/decent but that doesn't change the fact that this album is ... read more

Drake - Scary Hours 2
NR

Drake starts of the new year with ''Scary Hours 2'', a 3-track EP to follow up his 2018 pre-album EP ''Scary Hours'' which contained his biggest hit to date, ''God's Plan''. The project features guest appearances from Lil Baby and Rick Ross and despite being only 3 songs long, lasts for over 12 minutes. I personally really enjoy ''What's Next'' and ''Wants and Needs'', but even though I do like ''Lemon Pepper Freestyle'', I don't find myself coming back to it often. ''Scary Hours 2'' is a short ... read more

The Kid LAROI - F*CK LOVE
NR

''F*CK LOVE'' marks the start of The Kid Laroi's mainstream career. The 11-Track mixtape features guest appearances from Juice WRLD, Lil Mosey & Corbin. It's a well put together project with a theme, storyline and no skips but I think it could do with a couple of the interludes being either removed or replaced by more songs. Apart from that, ''F*CK LOVE'' shows a lot of potential from only 16 year old Laroi and marks the start of an artist destined to become one of the biggest names in the ... read more

Lil Pump & Ronny J - No Name
NR

Lil Pump's debut mixtape is really boring and even though you shouldn't expect anything new from a Lil Pump record, the tape fails to bring the same energy as his debut or even ''Harverd Dropout''. Most of the songs on here feature a boring chorus and bad verses over some decent, at times great Ronny J production. Although there is an exception, ''Racks To The Ceiling'' isn't enough to savethe mixtape from being incredibly boring, feature-lacking and uninteresting. Definitely some of the worst ... read more

Lil Tecca - We Love You Tecca 2
NR

''We Love You Tecca 2'' sees Lil Tecca evolve more into his own artist. A project full of internet money production, catchy hooks and decent lyricism makes for a really enjoyable project. The 20-song tracklist seems long at first but with most of the songs lasting at around 2 minutes it doesn't feel like a long record. The project contains some of Tecca's best songs ever but still no songs on the same level as ''Out Of Love'' from his debut album. In the future I hope to see Tecca making more ... read more

Post Malone - Hollywood's Bleeding
87

Post Malone's third studio album is in my opinion his best work so far. With an excellent intro track, great features, a wide diversity of music and a very good tracklist, ''Hollywood's Bleeding'' is a very enjoyable listen from start to finish with no real skips apart from just okay songs like ''I'm Gonna Be'' and ''Myself''. One of my favorite albums from 2019 and I'm really excited to see what he does with his next project.

Roddy Ricch - Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial
NR

At the time of writing this, my personal favorite album of all time. This album has it all, introspective songs like ''Intro'' and ''Prayers To The Trap God'', bangers like ''The Box'', Start Wit Me'', ''Tip Toe'' and ''Peta'', vibey songs like ''High Fashion'', ''Perfect Time'' and ''Bacc Seat''. The 16-song album features great production from Mustard, ATL Jacob, JetsonMade & many more and is a short but sweet 43-minute listen. ''War Baby'' is my personal favorite from the project and a ... read more
