AC/DC - Fly on the Wall
68

My first AC/DC album. Of course I am very familiar with the band and their songs, I just never listened to a full album by them. Why start by this one when it has some of the worst ratings? Because I won it on vinyl... Yeah not even give me a Back in Black, rude. I can feel the AC/DC sound I recognize from other songs of them, but I don't know there's something weird. I don't know if it's my record player or something but is the singers voice so low normally? I could barely ... read more

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + “The Alchemy X Treacherous Mashup” (Live From Paris)
96

THE LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE ALCHEMY IS SO GOOD!!! This mash up really made me appreciate Treacherous a lot more, I loved it before but it wasn't the one of Red I'd go too when I thought of hearing the album, and the transition? So good that it was barely noticeable. Just thought it was maybe a little too long, but overall, really good!

Taylor Swift - The Tortured Poet’s Department Standard Digital Album + “The Bolter (Getaway Car - Live from Edinburgh)
92

RANKING ONLY THE NEW TRACK!!!
Really liked it! The way she sang "Fucking matters" was so addicting. And the transition was so good! I feel like this acoustic version really made The Bolter more justice despite being an already great song. Overall, really good mashup and very good live performance!

Adventure Time - Adventure Time: Come Along with Me (Music from the Original TV Series)
79

fave track: Island Song (Come Along with Me)
Least Fave: Kingdom Gum

The Caretaker - Everywhere at the End of Time: Stage 1
90

So ironic that the depiction of one of the worlds worst diseases sounds so hauntigly beautiful yet so vulnerable and dangerous. I thought I'd just play this album while studying so I could enjoy it while still doing something useful but ultimately the instruments and the representations hooked me in such a way I abandoned the studies middle throught it. It sickens me, it's such a tenebrating experience that I hope everyone hears. I have relatives with dementia and to see them lose ... read more

John Carpenter - Halloween II
83

An amazing soundtrack to a more meh sequel, John Carpenter is an absolute genius when it comes to making banger scores that everyone is sure to remember. Although not quite as impressive or as well executed as the soundtrack to the first halloween score, it holds up to it's name very well. Some tracks don't hold up to their names like "Halloween II Theme", it's in my opinion a downgrade from the better "Halloween Theme" version but other hold up realy well ... read more

Iron Maiden - Killers
91

My first Iron Maiden album! I'm so surprised at it. I was gonna think I probably would dislike it but it turns out I fuck with them a lot. They are amazing storytellers and have some amazing beats. Looking forward to listen to more of their albums

Hazbin Hotel - Hazbin Hotel: Season One (Original Soundtrack)
37

Re-listened to it to do a ranking with a friend. Ranking it with them? 10/10 experience. Listening to the album? Made me cringe so bad for my past self.

Fave track: Ready for This
Least fave: It Starts With Sorry

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + Bonus Track “Fortnight (Acoustic Version)”
82

-- RANKING ONLY THE NEW TRACK --

Actually pretty soothing but somehow made Post have even less lines. Anyways it's pretty solid as an acoustic but I don't really like that wavy effect of the guitar that show up a lot in here.

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + Bonus Track “But Daddy I Love Him (Acoustic Version)”
78

-- RANKING ONLY THE NEW TRACK --

I personally prefer the original track a lot more, and it is one of the few tracks on the ori the original album I'm not to kin on. I think the best part of the original version was definitely the production so of course the acoustic version will feel less epic. It exists at best

Bob Newhart - The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart
16

Writing this mid listen cause I'm certain track 6 won't surprise me. I don't get why this would win AOTY, it's a comedy album that only makes sense if you're from the 60's, american and have poor comedy taste. Well, I'm none of those so I didn't understand most of the jokes. I actually liked the "Driving Instructor" bit, I didn't laugh, but maybe it if I hadn't been annoyed by listening to the other bits, I might have laughed. But that ... read more

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + Bonus Track “Fresh Out The Slammer (Acoustic Version)”
89

RANKING ONLY THE NEW TRACK!

It doesn't hit as hard as the acoustic version on The Eras Your she played in Lisbon. I think piano really did that song better, this acoustic version is still good nonetheless, I just don't see the point in it's existence, especially AS A VARIANT OF AN ALBUM

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + “How Did It End? (Live From Stockholm)”
96

RANKING ONLY THE NEW TRACK!

While some parts I'd prefer if she sang them like on the original song, the emotional vulnerability of the bridge alone is already enough for me to love it

Nunca Mates O Mandarim - Parou P'ra Ver

Fave track: 5º Esq.
Least fave: Domingo

Thomas Newman - WALL-E (An Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack)
100

Wall-e is my all time favorite movie, it was my favorite movie when I was one years old, two, three all the way to now, seventeen. Everything is magical about this movie, but even more it's the soundtrack. Being partially a silent movie, the score is one of the key aspects of the movie, and as expected from Thomas Newman, it's pure perfection, the way he captures the decrepit Earth in the beginning, the artificiality of the Axion till finally the hope in the Earth, it's all ... read more

BOYS LIKE GIRLS - Love Drunk
55

This is basically Taylor Swift and Hannah Montana but for the dudes that say they hate Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift. This screams Taylor Swift inspired album and undoubtedly Taylor's track is the best one here, the rest feel like Taylor songs... with cringe lyrics.

Fave Track: Two Is Better Than One
Least Fave: Go

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” (Live From Paris)
99

RANKING ONLY THE NEW TRACK!

Ok, this is one hell of a good live performance. The build up to the "Oh, here we go again", the raw emotion and the amazing vocals, thr echo-y aspect due to the stage, the crowd singing with her the chorus, the crowd singing the "He loves me" part from the backing vocals, the oh-oh-oh, the outro, they really were elevated by this performance. Would be even better if it was released as a single rather than a fucking album, but it's fine I ... read more

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT + "Peter" (Live From Stockholm)
98

After every 4 "new" albums, I hear one Taylor album and it's deluxe version, or just two Taylor albums in case there's no deluxe. Why? Gotta be honest, it's purely to be more organized in my page, I realized it after I heard Red and now I fixated on that, OCD you might say.
So, because I don't feel like listening to one entire album right now and since Taylor has like, 83649 different versions of this album, might as well save me some time and only listen to the ... read more

Blue Öyster Cult - Ghost Stories

I mean there's not really a lot to say, it's a bunch of Blue Öyster Cult discarded songs, some good, some clearly should've stayed unreleased, so after I say my fave and least fave tracks, have some lines from the eng dub of "Ghost Stories":

Fave track: Late Night Street Fight
Least fave: Soul Jive

"You know what I hear? I hear the sound of you shutting the fuck up"
"Let's see... 7?"
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ... read more
