In the clash of cultures, clash of ethnicities, clash of music, clash of interests, diversity emerged. A fado singer, the greatest fado singer in history, greets a football player, one of the best football players in history. Both came from different backgrounds, both do different things, both work with entertainment, but on opposite fields, they are different in sex and gender and are different in color. However, they greet each other, opposite worlds that respect each other and do not limit ... read more
My second Conan album and I really liked it! For a debut album, it's full of bangers and pretty famous songs taking account his popularity.
It's clear that this is a Dan Nigro album though, first song in and I was already saying "Wait, this is the jealousy jealousy guitar!". But Conan really tried to make a good cohesive album and it shows, his lyrics are amazing and while can still be generic, he has a sound to him, that really showcases who he is as an artist.

Everything people thought "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT" was gonna be finally gets the chance to shine.
This, this is the tortured poetry people were promised, and it fucking delievers.
The production is way more cohesive and delicate, more "ethereal and vintage" that act as a compliment to the lyrics.
The lyrics are gut-wrentching and deep, the torture building inside of her finally letting go once she finally finished the mockery.
It is the perfect anthology, the ... read more
I don't care. This album fucking slaps.
I still remember 19/04 when I first listened to it, usually I don't like many albums first time even though 2nd listen I'm already deep in love. Some examples are: "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" by Taylor Swift, one of my favorite albums ever; "The Rise Of Ziggy Stradust and the Spiders From Mars" by David Bowie, which now is constantly on repeat; and "Guts" by Olivia Rodirgo, another album I now hold so ... read more
I can see why people say it's similair to Short N' Sweet, but at the same, I can see why people say it's so different to Short N' Sweet.
I think most of the critique in terms of that is related to Manchild, but I digress.
However, the album disntances itself from Manchild in sonority, leaning way more into the "Singular" project of hers that made me a fan of her, it takes more R&B and disco aspect to it than Short N' Sweet ever did.
I personally think that ... read more
Rebecca Sugar is an insanely talanted artist, as a huge "Spiral Bound" lover, and being the person that I am thanks to Sugar's influence with shows like Steven Universe and Adventure Time, this was one of my most expected albums of the year.
It definitly did not dissapoint! In fact, I think I might even like it more than Spiral Bound. It's classical Rebecca's songs and new styles altogether, a mixture of what she knew before and what she know now. "This Is a Love ... read more
Music is supposed to make you feel things, music is supposed to summon an emotion even of those that seem to have none.
Particularly, I'm not really a fan of country music, it's not like I hate it, but I'm far from loving it. I started to give country a chance thanks to Taylor Swift, but Taylor's way of country is so specific and so Taylor-y, I can't really apply that to the rest of the genre, I tried listening to some of the biggest hits of recent country and, meh, ... read more
Considering this is nothing but a Walmart EP, it's actually good! I can't really tell the difference between OG Picture to Burn and this radio edit so hence it's lower note
Fave track: I Heart?
Least fave: Teardrops on My Guitar (Acoustic Version)
It's a cute holiday EP. I hold it dear to my heart since it was the first CD I bought, and I remember spending ages trying to get it, since in my country he is basically unaccessible.
Fave track: Christmases When You Were Mine
Least fave: Silent Night
One song. One song made me wanna listen to this. When it comes to "The Amazing Digital Circus" there's not really much I can add that's not been already said. I love this show, A LOT, I was particularly waiting for the soundtrack of the episode 5 and 6 to come out since they've the best soundtrack in my opinion (I desperately need the "Gangle gets a Tommy Gun!" track and the "INTERMISSION").
This show is.... Well cringe there's no denying that, ... read more
While I believe any album related to a movie needs to be listened after watching the movie and only having the movie as context to it, it can't be denied that in the end, it's an album (NOTE: I'm not talking about a score of a movie, that's another scenario). An album has singles, songs that shine amidst the album and the general public can enjoy without having any prior context. That is the example of "Dance The Night", "What Was I Made For?" and more ... read more
While I believe the three new tracks of the album compared to the Taylor's Version shine more here and in comparision to the standard album I like them more here, the acoustic version of both "Back To December" and "Haunted" leave much to desire, I don't believe they really complement the songs that well, it robbed them of their previous power, it has been proved Taylor can make acoustic tracks just as good (in some cases even better, in my opinion) as the ... read more
Do you ever have this urgent feel of listening to this album and desiring to make a movie about it?
3 new musics, 1 of them is a song I have a dear space in my heart, other is possibly the best song on the album, taylor's version or reclaimed version, an the other one was one of my surprise songs. So undoubtfuly amazing songs, just not a high note cause the demos and the acoustic are kinda meh.
Fave track: The Moment I Knew
Least fave: Red (Original Demo Recording)
I feel like I was surprised the most with the changes, I had forgotten how diffeewnt the original sounded!
Fave track: Almost all of them!
Least Fave: The Lucky One
I'm happy with how this one turned out. Felt different yet still very much Lana. Really felt a little more country while maintaining the alt folk vibe so characteristic of her. It is a very disperse albums, usually it's a certain pattern, it starts amazing and slowly declines or the opposite, here I felt like it was just a bit I everything in everywhere, if I had to choose a section of the album to be my favorite I would say the middle, but also the begining, not the end though, I ... read more
Felt like a nice summer breeze, refreshing, sweet and something that was needed. No wonder people love Lana's songs so much, they are made with maximum effect to provoke emotion. The gut wrenching, love inducing, desperate desire and well, horniness, are so beautifully written through out the tracks, accompanied by some hauntingly stunning instruments that either serve to complement the songs or their a sense to evidently showcase the lyrics which are some of Lana's best attributes ... read more
First Tyler album, can clearly see tons of inspiration from JayZ, K@nye, Pharrell yet it feels unique. It really is an experience
