this EP definitely feels like a departure from previous soundscapes that were explored a lot in wishlane's first two LPs; not completely discarding it, but a lot of the songs here definitely merge a lot more acoustic elements with just a bit of that familiar electronic production, which i also feel like takes a step back in favor of shining the spotlight on the lyrics and the Much poppier melodies (compared to previous projects).
