Better than the original song imo, and the music video adds so much depth it's awesome.
The more I listen the more I appreciate the absolute genius of Elliot Smith, this is slowly becoming one of my favorite albums of all time its just so damn good.
It's literally the best part of black midi which is the jazz, I'm in heaven.
This is so heartwarming with a beautiful beat, Uncle Al really the goat
Another album I have been meaning to listen to for a long time and again I was not disappointed. The dark sound is absolutely incredible on this thing and the way the instruments are placed in the mix is just crazy good. It really is a shame the front man Ian Curtis died because his genius really shines here.
Best Songs: Disorder, Day of the Lords, Candidate, Insight, She's Lost Control, Shadowplay, Interzone, I Remember Nothing
Worst Songs: NONE
Verdict: 100/100
I have been meaning to listen to this album for so long and I am mad I didn't sooner. This thing IS SO GOOD like I have been obsessed with it, especially the intro track and of course "Enjoy the Silence". It really did live up to the hype and the spacing on certain tracks is just so great, and the dark tone of this album is what makes it even better.

One of my favorite bands of all time is finally back with their new album and I can say like all their albums it is definitely a change of pace. More mature and spaced-out sounds with great reflections on life and even a call back to Oracular Spectacular. I know a lot of people have mixed opinions on this thing right now but I grew to love it really fast and it is definitely a slow burner when first listening. After this album, I am super interested to see where the duo goes after this.

I think one day I will end up liking this a bit more but for me, this is IDLES weakest album, decently consistent with the sound but not executed well in some spots.
Best Songs: MTT 420 RR, The Wheel, When the Lights Come On, The New Sensation, Stockholm Syndrome, The Beachland Ballroom
Worst Songs: Car Crash, Kelechi, Wizz, King Snake
Verdict: 78/100
We are back to IDLES and yep the sound they have is still addictive and creative, I thoroughly enjoyed this album and the intro track is so hype, and the build-up pays off but the song "June" is so powerful, and amazing it's easily my favorite. I still feel like I enjoy the sound on Ultra Mono a little bit more since it is more consistent but this album is so awesome as well and the only other complaint I have is the first half of this album is definitely stronger than the second half ... read more
Coming into this album I was not a giant fan of Yeat honestly but after this, I am very very impressed. The soundscape on this album is absolutely incredible and just impressive, especially coming from Yeat, the dude who made Rage Bangers and sounded like the weirdest dude on the planet. The worst part about this album is easily how bloated it is, if the tracklist was cut in half I would consider scoring it even higher.

Ahhh the final Smiths album, I am very sad there isn't any more material but man they are consistent as ever and I was going into this album expecting to be underwhelmed but I am pretty impressed and some of my favorite songs from the band are on here. Great closing album from one of the best bands ever IMO.

A more upbeat and "positive" Cure album? That can't be possible! Well, I am here to tell you it is especially on the opening track it is just so energetic and groovy which feels like a weird thing to say for a Cure album. They also seem to experiment a bit with their sound on this which I find interesting but some of it does not work so well.

This is their darkest record and it really shows especially by the opening track "One Hundred Years" sounds like I'm in a deep void you can't escape and I love it. By far my two favorite songs though are the back-to-back "A Strange Day" and "Cold", when the guitar comes in on "A Strange Day" you feel like your floating, and the same goes with "Cold" feels like I'm on a different planet
