This is the greatest emo album in the existence of the genre btw!
I keep reading his stupid fucking name as Jeff Magnum.
Electronic music has never been my forte. While none of this is bad I can't help but think I'd rather be listening to an early Eno project or even something like Portishead (who I'm not even a really big fan of). Reminded me of the Terraria soundtrack at points so I'll bump it up to a 7/10.
So uhhh... remember what I said about certain songs on Either/Or being genuinely grating to listen to... half of this album is that.
I feel like I'm missing something with this album and a lot of the really highly renowned albums in the general music sphere. I think Lauryn Hill is a great great rapper and a really good singer I just think the songwriting is relatively boring and forgettable on 90% of the tracks here. I can appreciate her talent, but I don't think I can say that this really sold me on that talent fully.
