before this came out i had no idea who these guys were, but my friends kept talking about this album, so i figured i'd listen. goddamn was i blown away. from the first song i had a goofy smile on my face, and it persisted. the production is batshit insane but also awesome, with the bass and distortion providing contrast to the myspace era melodies, like on "xXXi_wud_nvrstøp_ÜXXx". but what surprised me most was how addicting this was. this album latches on to you, and its ... read more

this album took 3 years to click with me, but god has it left an imprint on me. before i thought it was pretentious indie, but now i truly realize the beauty of this record. each song flows into the next, and conjures emotions that music doesn't usually make me me feel. this is truly one of the most emotionally affecting records i've ever heard, on par with depression cherry.

legit the best remixes i’ve ever heard, this guy can produce like no one else, and the beats here are catchy, intricate, and fun. a hidden gem.

this album is all killer no filler. just half an hour of catchy rock and roll that never gets old. every song on here is concise and to the point, and doesn't waste time. they manage to ride the line of pretentiousness very well, and the lyrics come off as calculated yet carefree. favorites are nyc cops, hard to explain, and soma.
