I never truly understood why people called this a perfect album until I finally sat down with it. To Pimp a Butterfly is easily one of my favorite albums now, top-tier lyricism combined with incredible instrumentation. Kendrick went all-in on this project, and the result is nothing short of insane. It completely changed my perspective on the album, and I can confidently say I’m a die-hard fan now. 1000/10.
