The Minkyung featuring at the end healed my soul, god I love her.
The rest of the album is pretty nice, but I'll probably never listen to it again.
A little too short for my liking, that's a shame. I still really enjoyed the EP, though.
Not really a huge fan of 'Farewell for now!'. It's fine, but it doesn't particularly hit me. I don't dislike it, though, so I don't mind listening to it when I listen to the album from start to finish. The MV is great, though. I love the cinematography.
'Growls & Purrs' is wonderful, I'm glad I didn't listen to it when it was pre-released.

I love empty music.
OPTIONS has a very nice chorus. HEARTBREAK AVENUE is really nice. SEESAW is a little vibey. The rest is pure void.
Oh this album is so good!!
The title is great, the bsides go from good to excellent (Hands Off My Heart, Toxic ❤️), and the solos delivered. Umji and Eunha's solos are excellent!! I don't really like the chorus in SinB's solo, but the pre-chorus is very nice. The album sounds very consistent and the prods are great. It's most definitely their second-best album after their debut EP.
I'll pretend SinB doesn't do a "skrrt skrrt" ad-lib in Tweet.
Nah this debut EP is genuinely excellent though.
They are so special...
Dall is incredible and has already become one of my favourite KPOP releases of all time so naturally, I had crazy expectations for Club Icarus because, well, I'm a long-time Orbit, I profundly adored Dall, and because while I don't particularly like the person behind the company, I value ModHaus' music pretty highly (thanks to tripS, Heejin's solo, OEC and Dall).
This EP is a condensed experience of ARTMS' sound. I can't lie, I was pretty ... read more
Many of those songs remind me of The Rolling Girls OP, which I think is why I like this album this much. This is my first exposure to The Linda Lindas' music, so I can't compare it to their past album and judge whether or not they've "sold out." The album is fun, and I like it a lot; that's more than enough for me.
Don't really get the hate in the reviews.
It's an okay continuation of this sound they've had since 'I NEVER DIE'. The EP is a little short, the ballad shouldn't be there, but it's a nice-ish EP nonetheless. Love Tease is really good, Chain is cool as well. Unstoppable is nice. Good Thing and Girlfriend are bearable versions of TOMBOY/Queencard.

I still have the same opinion on the album as I had on release day.
I think it's good, some songs are excellent even, but as a whole I find it weaker than <ASSEMBLE24> or <Performante>—only mentioning these two because they're the most recent releases and they're full albums as well. I still like it though, but after <ASSEMBLE24> & <Performante>, both of which raised the bar so damn high, it feels a little lacking.

A little disappointed by the album.
My main complaint is that there are essentially only three new songs, making it a pretty disappointing "debut EP" by definition. TEDDY doesn't take really do anything fun or out of the ordinary on his prods either, it's standard TEDDY/YG 2.0 stuff, which is pretty sad considering the dude is also behind IZNA's music—which isn't a lot better either, but they at least don't purely sound like a poor attempt at being a ... read more
I was feeling beyond miserable, and this album sounds so incredibly beautiful that it healed me.
Extremely biased because my appreciation of this album isn't solely the music itself but also the time I spent in the game, in its world, with its characters, and so on. So the rating is biased in the sense that what the music makes me feel was enhanced by everything else in the game. I spent three months with this game (on and off) so I got plenty of time to grow attached to its music. However, I legit think this album/OST is incredible by itself. Sure, you wouldn't feel the same ... read more
This album's a little too long, but god damn some of the songs in there are so, so good.
I love this guy's music. There's something about it that really works on me. It's pretty generic and at times a little cheesy, but it also feels very sincere and I find the melodies incredibly beautiful.
Overly obsessed with High Horse, KNOW ABOUT ME, and Papillion; those tracks are incredible. I love Ocean too and Slingshot is great, it almost reminds me of a f(x) song at times. Sadly, Golden Recipe is there and it kinda kills the momentum of the EP for me as it's right in the middle (and you can see the ratings on the website, people seem to agree that the other 5 songs are great while this one is average).
This album is great and I keep coming back to it. NMIXX had always been a group ... read more
