What a beautiful album. Obviously it has reputation as being sampled by Kanye, but the record on its own is just as good, if not better, than what Kanye did with it. A gorgeous listens rom top to bottom, Siffre gives us his heart without any strings attached, and allows us to feel his personal emotions which are somehow universal to all of it. His voice is stunning as well.
Dark, twisted, and oh so mysteriously catchy. Ian Curtis really stepped up his game with this one.
The Pecan Tree might be the best metal song of all time. This thing is beastly.
