THIS ALBUM FUCKS. Holy shit this thing is good. The bars are great, the production is actually so fucking good, and I have not laughed at an album as much as this one in a hot minute. Genuine top 5 album of the year.

Wow I loved this thing way more than I’ve loved any work from Kaytranada before. It’s so groovy and fun, we’re really starting the summer off with some banger albums. Get this man to help produce Childish Gambino’s next album and it will be a 10.

Ski continues to be a rapper who is GOOD but has not made a great album yet. There’s just too much bloat on this thing and the Jah interlude feels really uncomfortable to listen to, especially on an album with really no emotional moments. That being said, there are some bars on this thing and I definitely didn’t hate it. Just could’ve been a lot better.

Sexy. This is gonna be album of the summer, and I’m hella excited for it. This should be in the conversation for the greatest EPs of all time imo. Redveil has made one of the most compact pieces of talent in the hiphop scene and I think each song here is PERFECT. This went crazy live too. Redveil is the artist I am most excited for in the hiphop scene.

This is the opium equivalent of elevator music. There are a few standouts here in R50 and Side Effext but for the most part this is the same slop homixide gang and all of opium have been feeding us. There’s nothing overly ass or offensive tho so I guess it’s fine.

We Don’t Trust you is a fun album with some bangers and some misses. With Type Shit, Like That, Slimed In, Everyday Hustle, metro could’ve cultivated a great EP. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and were left with a pretty good album.

I didn’t fuck with this at ALL bro it felt like there weren’t really any bangers on this thing like the first album. Just a long boring listen with very little songs I was interested to add to a playlist. The points I can give this album are all from Metro and features, Future ran through all his original ideas on We Don’t Trust You. Very underwhelming.

I firmly believe this album will grow on the entire hip-hop community in a year or so. 2093 is my most listened to album of 2024 so far and I don’t believe that will change. I am beyond impressed by Yeat’s ability to produce this album, it may be one of my favorite sounding albums of the 2020s so far. Yea it’s pretty good. Best album of all time? I don’t think so. But it’s an amazing party album that delivers on every track and may be one of the most iconic pieces of music in modern day.

The content of this album is wonderful, it’s an incredibly easy listen at only 35 minutes, and it has a bunch of stuff I love about similar hip-hop albums, so why am I not as crazy about it as other albums?
