A truly extraordinary album which is not only my favorite of 2025 so far, but also one of the most emotionally complex pieces of music I’ve encountered in a long time.
There’s something deeply moving about it. Some songs sound traumatized, others confused or quietly devastated, but when experienced together, they create something far greater an intricate emotional landscape that feels like it comes directly from the subconscious. It's as if the album speaks a language beyond ... read more
First of all, I should say that maybe I’m not completely objective here. Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands ever, and I had plenty of reasons to love this album. So please don’t take my opinion too seriously.
That being said, I really don’t think this album meets the usual Floyd standards. It doesn’t even have that magical sound they’re known for -you know, those atmospheric keyboards that feel like floating-. Also, the songs don’t really feel like they ... read more
Let's be true to ourselves, that's not even that bad. Yeah, not completely bangers and genereally pretty boring but has some good and really enjoyable parts in it which means that deserves something higher than 30-40. So I gave 50 (15 for cover)

Magnolia Electric Company, the final album under the Songs: Ohia name, feels less like a recording and more like a living, breathing thing. It captures the lonely soul of American folk and blues but charges it with a raw, modern electricity that grabs you from the first note.
This is an album of stunning texture. The production is gloriously unpolished, placing you right in the room with the band. And the guitars, they're the heart of it all. ... read more
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT KANYE WEST REFERENCE IN THE BACKGROUND?!
I didn' t know they were that close all that time. Now, let’s talk about the album itself. The universe Bowie creates here—telling the story of Ziggy—it’s like you’re thrown into a fairy tale, but at the same time, it feels like you’re watching your own life unfold. The vibe it gives off? It hits you deep, man. It makes you feel all sorts of things—longing, hope, and even a bit of that ... read more
It can simply be described as Strokes' most successful album.
First of all, simple instruments were used as expected from an album known as a garage rock album. This made the album quite vibing and enjoyable. The lyrics of the songs about drugs and pills and the punk atmosphere are breathtakingly beautiful and impressive. Everything in the album is in its place and its very close to perfection.
I would also like to point out that the songs in the album seem simple enough to be ... read more
