Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
100

No doubt that this is one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. Eminem is clowned on nowadays but you cant deny he is one of the most influential artists of all time. This album shows you that you don't need to follow the rules of the music industry to succeed. This album is super fun to rap along to and every song is amazing. The production is outstanding as always and Shady being a great MC makes every track enjoyable. Love this project and will always have respect for Eminem.

Future - FUTURE
80

"FUTURE" was released about a week before "HNDRXX" and serves as the polar opposite of "HNDRXX". This album was very amazing and every track has a special energy to it. Future delivered to both fans of his traditional style and his fans who enjoy more experimental projects. This project was a good follow up to "EVOL" and maintained true to its ATL sound.

Future - HNDRXX
76

First time I listened to this project, I just laughed. I finally took the time to sit down and actually listen to it today and I was not disappointed. On HNDRXX we can see Future reflecting on his past, from being a kid to the relationships he's struggled through. It's always interesting when artists open up like this on a project and it gives you a deeper view into the mind of the artist. Every track on this album has something positive to take away from it, which I failed to realize in the ... read more

ITSOKTOCRY - POSHBOY!
75

This album was extremely anticipated between my friends and I after hearing the many snippets that were released. Cry makes fun music while taking the time to enjoy himself which is very inspiring. Cry has shown that if you don't want to stick to an older style you don't have to at all.

Scrim - A Man Rose From The Dead
75

"A Man Rose From The Dead" is nothing what you would expect but don't let this turn you off. Many people did not like this project and I will admit I didn't either. I listened to this project many times and it was an honest struggle to enjoy at first. This was very selfish of me because I didnt truly take the time to listen to what $crim had to say. This project was $crim's attempt at making music sober and he expresses this throughout the project. You must also take the time to ... read more

nascar aloe - THE GARAGE TAPES
60

These six tracks are very cluttered with DJ tags and random sound effects. However, this actually brought an authentic mixtape vibe and there are a couple of songs that I come back to often such as "OI" and "Duckhunt". Honestly not too sure where this tape originated but its decent. Nothing too amazing but the songs are not horrible.

Lil Raven - Back From The Future 7
80

This project exceeded my expectations. Raven brought a very unique sound to this project and every track is decent.

DaBaby - BLAME IT ON BABY
5

This album was terrible. Each song gets progressively worse. First listen I was honestly excited to hear him change up his flow but I started to feel an immense pain every time another track would come on. I used to hate on DaBaby for making the same song over and over but this has showed me when he tries to branch out it becomes worse. What even was the track "Blame It On Baby"??? This song was so bad and makes me think that DaBaby never relistens to a track before putting it out. ... read more

nascar aloe - Find Me
78

"Find Me" is everything experimental, punk, and rap fans could want. The first song "Find Me" is a good introduction to Nascar's most used sound. His distorted 808's and raunchy vocals are sure to have you headbanging in no time. He starts off his second verse with "I'm The New Sid Vicious..." This is very interesting take especially if you've never heard his reasoning. Without looking into this you may think he is comparing himself to a legend but in reality Sid ... read more

nascar aloe - Set it Off
87

This EP was amazing and offered and great variety of songs (all three of them). "ANNUNAKI" with Jasiah brought out the now infamous screamo style of trap that we all are very familiar with nowadays. The second track on this project sounds very mainstream but is still an enjoyable to the majority of listeners. The cadence was very similar to Playboi Carti on this track but Nascar's voice is much more enjoyable than Carti's mumbling style that blew him up. The final track "Tom And ... read more

nascar aloe - FED UP!
65

This EP was a very surprising and gave us four different tracks to enjoy. When I first heard "FED UP!" I was hooked and extremely high hopes for this project. When I got to "GENOCIDE" I was still enjoying this project, the beats were strange and distorted and had me truly intrigued. When "ALL I WANT IN LIFE" came on the hook immediately turned me off. Songs that tend to take the exaggerated-edgy route are not really my favorite. Although the verse is not terrible ... read more

$uicideboy$ - Stop Staring at the Shadows
70

This project is mashup of many new styles and old flows that were all explored and crafted together beautifully. With a wide variety of songs to choose from there is bound to be something that every listener can enjoy. Many keep complaining that the duo has changed way too much but you must understand that both $crim and Ruby are trying to become greater people while struggling to please fans that expect way too much from them. They chose a great opening track with "All Dogs Go To ... read more

This album is a quick listen and will either leave you extremely satisfied with what you've just heard or you'll question your life. Either way you cannot deny that Nascar is in fact, the new "Sid Vicious". Straight off the bat you are greeted by Nascar Aloe, the 20 year old Cambodian misfit from the small town of Lexington in North Carolina. Nascar sonically reminds me of Anti-World rapper Sybyr (fka Syringe). This project is very short which is the beauty of Nascar Aloe, similar ... read more

$uicideboy$ - KILL YOURSELF Part XIX: The Deep End Saga
50

This Saga begins with another heart wrenching song. $crim realizes how much worse his depression has gotten while Ruby expresses how much he wishes he could rewind time. However, the second song on this Saga shows Ruby angry at all of the people who act the same and again who are over-saturating brands and styles. Meanwhile $crim raps about almost every drug in the book. The final track on this Saga leaves Ruby looking back into time before the fame while $crim looks back to when he was ... read more

$uicideboy$ - KILL YOURSELF Part XVII: The Suburban Sacrifice Saga
50

The punchy bass goes perfect with "Lamar Avenue" while $crim brings his non-filtered lyrics and Ruby talks of destroying the world and disowning a leader. This Saga lacks a lot of substance but this is easily forgotten about once you hear the amazing vocal effects and mastered production. A much greater example of this would be Part XIV. This project was great yet it fails to shine as bright as some as their future and even previous efforts.

$uicideboy$ - KILL YOURSELF Part X: The Resurrection Saga
50

This project is very slow and honestly the most forgettable in my opinion. Every song seemed to drag on just a small bit too long. The problem with this project for me was the songs were not horrible or entirely great. Very mediocre, sorry, not much to say about this one.

$uicideboy$ - KILL YOURSELF Part IX: The Soulseek Saga
40

The production on this Saga is really what stood out to me. The "Cortex" sample on "Harvest Moon" was very beautiful and was used well. Oddy's verse on "Dont Give A Fuck" was very impressive and he was able to ride the instrumental very well. "Hair" was a relaxing track with the normal themes of the duo. This Saga was very short but it wasn't terrible. While it lacked substance I believe this could be due to the fact that each track was around two minutes.

55

The first track on this Saga left me very disappointed as it offered nothing new and seemed very low effort. "Bags" lets the listener have hope for the duo and once again the boys prove that they still have what it takes. Their trade-off in this song is legendary and $lick is very impressive on this track. Oddy blew me away on "Kamehameha". The way he was sampled on this song makes the track very entertaining. The production on "Vietnam" was very unique for its ... read more

$uicideboy$ - KILL YOURSELF Part VII: The Fuck God Saga
20

This Saga is instantly completely different from their earlier themes. The duo starts to drift into a darker direction whilst maintaining their original appeal. $lick has become much more comfortable with his rapping ability at this point. This is one of the first times we see the religious aspect that we all know very well from later projects. On the second track we get a feature from Ramirez who would continue to collaborate with the $uicideboy$. This Saga was always the least interesting to ... read more
