i played sunflower when my tamagotchi died and i was never the same again
"i ask myself what would ben do" might genuinely be the funniest line i have ever heard
i dont know.. i really wanted to like this. i've never been the biggest linkin park fan but sometimes the emotions of their older songs have been just what i needed to hear. i've especially been playing their papercuts compilation this year. but this new album is just kind of limp to me. like, there are a few great moments, but so much of this feels less like genuine expression and more like im being sold the idea of a new linkin park. Two Faced grew on me a lot but everything else ... read more
glad i waited until the episodes were out to hear this because it HITS
edit: soooo...... funny story I got really into this show to the point where I kind of went insane and I realized that I kind of hate it? It doesn't really stand for anything other than centrism I guess and a lot of stuff in season 2 is genuinely gross to me. this isn't a show reviewing website so I won't get too into it but yeah my stance has changed entirely. song is still great though
PLEASE check this out this is one of my favorites of the year but nobody is talking about it. i saw them open for boris and starcrawler and they were incredible and so is this album. it has such great vibes and noise please please please give it a listen if you can
ok now THIS is real music
this game was my life for a large portion of my childhood
these songs are alive and have probably killed multiple people
you cannot convince me that the knot is innocent
edit: ok this is easily top 3 swans for me now im still shaking after this experience (dony judge me pleeeaaaase) i have never had such an intense reaction to just listening to an album before i dont relaly know what to say but this is probably the most powerful (almost literally) music i have ever heard in my life
still prefer the studio version of the glowing man though...
idk this is like.. really really good. it works so well in the show at least
guys i dont think it gets more peak than this
im pretty sure this is why they made the word "peak"
i dont think i've ever connected to an album so much before. this takes me right to the core of my pain and now i have to accept that the things that happened to me did happen and it wasnt my fault. even though it's taken years im still glad im here thank you Vylet Pony
i think i'll write more in depth a while later but for now this is the best i can do
i genuinely cant find the problem with the mixing this album sounds great
I do not care about having too many perfect scores anymore I love music so much. I truly feel like these albums are perfect in the least objective way possible I have no idea what perfect means to anyone else but me
i got to see quantum physics live today and the songs that werent fully clicking with me have clicked this is such a beautiful emotional experience that i've been looping since i got home
i dont like the song as much as guns for hire but i think it was perfect for the scene it is in
edit: this song hasn't left my head for a few days and honestly im fine with that. i think if i was listening to this first outside of arcane, i wouldn't like it very much because of how dramatic it is but in the show i think it works great
wait is it pronounced tripping over wires?? This whole time I thought this person just liked the concept of tripping over the existence of wires holy shit my eyes are open to the secrets of everything now
