Very enjoyable, and a huge departure from the previous discography of X. My favorite album of his by far.
This album gives me mixed emotions. When it works, boy howdy it works. Unfortuantely, the songs in between the good ones are unmemorable, forgettable filler.
Lord Huron's most iconic album, this is a joy to listen to. When The Night Is Over, Wait By The River, and Emerald Star are my personal favorites, and they will remain as some of my favorite songs of all time. I would highly recommend that you listen to this. When it delivers, it truly delivers
I genuinely enjoyed Lord Huron's newest album, and I think that the use of little speaking chunks was brilliant. I didn't love the 14 minutes of ambiance at the end of the album, but I would have enjoyed it more if it were pared down a little.
