"OKAY" is one of the most catchy rap songs I've heard in recent years and the first track is really good as well. This mixtape is definitely not bad and actually has some pretty strong highlights. I just wish it was more consistent because there's a big gap between the levels that the songs are on and some of them have less interesting beats. Also, the lyrics do get a little repetitive but honestly it's not that big of a deal. I think she's a great rapper and ... read more
I really can't get over the lyrics, the dialogue at the end of the first and 2nd last track, and the last track "Die". I see what he's trying to achieve with this but to me it just comes off as corny. The production is actually pretty decent though.
Sonically impressive at times but it really lacks replay value in my opinion. It's very forgettable and most of the songs have too much going on at once which makes it overwhelming in a way.
This album really took me by surprise. This was my first Starflyer 59 album and I listened to it after seeing the genres. "You Think You're Radical" and "Help Me When You're Gone" felt like a dream. The production was so beautiful on those two songs. I like that it has a mix of quieter songs and louder songs as it makes the album less repetitive and adds variation. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone that likes Dream Pop/Shoegaze.
Incredibly beautiful (just like its sister album "A I A: Dream Loss" which I'd recommend to anyone that likes this) and it's one of my most played albums so far this decade.
I'll always love Grouper. I'm a big fan of ambient but this is on a whole other level. It really does sound like you're in outer space just floating around. It's so calming.
One of the most depressing albums I've ever listened to. I liked it since my first listen (my original rating was 84) but since then it has grown on me even more. His vocals are out of this world and I love how the songs sound like they were recorded in a big empty room or a church or something. He sings with so much emotion and it really gives me goosebumps.
This album did not disappoint. 4 of the tracks don't really click with me as much as I want them to (Wild And Alone, Touch A Girl, Piece Of Mine, Lost All My Friends) but her vocals are beautiful as always and I love the way she uses the autotune here. It sounds great.
I just wanna point out that "Stereo Boy" is literally one of the best songs she has ever released and I've had it on repeat for like 2 hours at this point. Easily the highlight of the album if you ask me.
I LOVE the sound of this album. It's so special and when done right it sounds awesome. Buttercup and Oh Klahoma are top tier songs!! Might get more used to the other songs and rate them even higher but this is a really good album.
“hardly ever smile (without you)” is a gorgeous song and by far my favorite. I really wish the other tracks were on the same level but it’s still a solid ep.
I've realized I'm not really a fan of the vocals but still "Death Spells" was way better. In my opinion this album is not very memorable
Even the worst tracks on this album have a lot going for them and the best tracks are incredible!

Pretty vocals and usually I love quiet albums but I feel like this was kinda repetitive. It would definitely work as background music to set the mood though. I could listen to this on a rainy day.
Her voice is so calming and beautiful which really makes the whole thing better. This had a strong start too
Favs: Puddles, My Turn, Slip
I have to point out that the piano in "Water On Your Nose" reminded me of Taswell by C418 (The 3:59 mark in Taswell and 0:18 in Water On Your Nose sound the same which is kinda cool (the piano keeps repeating throughout the song so it's not just at 0:18 but yeah))
Love their voices but this was just okay for the most part. Nothing really stood out
Relisten: "Lullaby" is genuinely amazing but the rest of the album is boring. "Rope" had me falling asleep.
And this is just my opinion. If you disagree that's cool
I find it very hard to get through albums with this sound sometimes. I don’t really like saxophones, trumpets etc. This was pretty good though

Bruh.
The songs sound really bad and I don’t like his vocals. Another thing, I don’t know if I’m supposed to feel bad for him but I can’t when his lyrics are so cringe
I feel like they could really make an amazing album. Her voice is so pleasant to listen to and the production is vibey. Too many misses on this project though.
