I have honestly been able to simultaniously jam to this album and fall asleep to it. Ill prolly do a more in depth review later, but holy hell this shit is lifechanging after only listening to the shittiest Jslop has to offer

Honest to god excellent production with really fun ideas, especially the shifting tempos. Even though it didn't get to be used for it's original purpose, it was still amazing to see the 4K world champs absolutely fumble the bag on this.

Tuyu brings in one of the best songs in the history of J-Rock, and it pains me that many people have not heard it. It is just a masterclass in rock, with an amazing structure and even better solo. Absolutely amazing.

Mori Calliope brings her quality level back to slightly above average, after the hellish release that was Unalive. Honestly, for me, the worst song on this record was Im Greedy(I love cheese) at around a 45-50, meanwhile Glass Slipper, Wanted Wasted, and Dance Past Midnight are 90s. Many of these songs are decent, despite what the big guys say. I would love if Calli just threw FAKE TYPE by the wayside, but even their track is semi-decent. anyway, for me, this album is a 70.

on god have had still dancing and karma on my playlist for the longest time. Personally, if it is done correctly, electroswing can be great, as this album shows. Also, OR3O vocals slap :)

ado's style either works or doesn't, and it so happens that it does not work in many cases, the big stinker of this album is no doubt the aishite cover, coming in at a 20 for me, and the highlight is easily God-ish, coming in with a 85. Honest to god, one of my favorite EPs of all time. Not a single song here falls flat, mainly due to the fact that she is actually famous now under her Mori Calliope character. The main standout here is Fake Ass Gold, with Wanting, Getting, Wanting also sharing a 9.5/10. Sure, the math does not really add up, but the other songs, being dark hour and take the bait, being somewhere from 70-85, leading me to an average of 90.

Like the average Frozen in Time reviewer, I originally found out about this album from it's lead singer, Jacob Alpharad. The reason it is rated as low as it is for me is due to the disparity of it's songs. Lets put it this way, there are 3 non single songs I like on this. MBDTF is an absolutely amazing rap album, however, it is not nearly as amazing as some people say. While there are some amazing, nearly perfect tracks on it, think Monster or Devil in a New Dress, there are also some real stinkers. Mainly that damned John Legend track.
